2000 olds alero won't go in gear

could be the trany is now junk. check to make sure you have enough fluid in the trany.

Has your Alero been parked for an extended time, or is the weather really dirty where you are? May need to clean all 4 door acentuators...(spray with PB Blaster) and wipe off excess...may be sticking...any interior lights on? Best test would be to dis-connect the battery posts for 15 minutes and then re-connect. (this reset the memory) Any check engine lights on? Hope this helps.

Check fuse,could be starter.check battery connection, how old is battery.

open gas cap turn key to on position listen for whirling sound ,if not, check fuel pump relay, check for fuel pressure 

Their is a separate motor for each window. The least expensive fix is to replace the entire track assembly and motor. This is not a big job if you have done it before but it could be if you are not mechanical.
