Hope it's the correct one for the engine displacement. The best way to do this job is to go to an auto parts store and get the chilton manual for your car. It will explain all you need to know.

roots are flashed into the PCM, (Factory Alarm) but if you can locate the main module, you can unplug the harness feeding it. but other componets may be routed thorough it also be careful. and most likely will end up unsuccessful
