press button 1 repeatedly until correct first digit of code is shon on display. then press preset buttons 2,3 and 4 in the same way for remaining digits, until the correct complete keycode is shown. Then press preset button 5 to enter keycode. If you have entered the correct code, the unit will operate.

The code could be written down in your manuel, if the security code was not programed in the radio try 0000 to reset. If your really good with the ford dealer that service's your car or the sale's rep that sold you the car, they my have the code still in there system since they always disconnect battery's all the time to work on a car.
If they want to charge you a crazy amount, log onto www.radio-code.com. They can help you by getting the code and cost is cheaper then the dealer or carfax.com may also have the code to your car.
