SOURCE: 2002 LS: aHow do I fill radiator in my V8 Lincoln LS...

First- to drain ,you can reach the drain valve, from the pass side,if you lay on the ground and reach up to the radiator. You do not even have to raise the vehicle up
Second- mix Yellow GO5 Coolant about 50/50 or 60/40. Do not use Green in a Ford or Orange GM
To Fill- Remove the front two plastic screw type buttons, from the engine cover
-Remove the cover
The radiator cap is on the front of engine,on top,it is plastic
Remove cap and that is your fill point
Run engine to warm and get thermostat open,as you would with any vehicle
Top off coolant,replace cap
VERY IMPORTANT-next to the Power Brake Booster, and just under it,is a BLEEDER HOSE;to let air out of system. Turn screw slot ,only a little,DO NOT REMOVE SCREW. When coolant runs out close.
Fill-Degas Bottle,to full line,with coolant.
Check the next couple days on resevoir level ( Degas Bottle)

SOURCE: diagram for a 2000 lincoln ls V8

Your best ,to cut the old belt,to remove.

You can use a long handle 1/2" drive ratchet, on the belt tensioner.

The only pic is in the shop manual.

Wear long sleeves and arm protector sleeves on top. the fan housing is sharp and a tight fit. You will be there a couple hours.

Draw a picture before you start, and you won't need a diagram

Will a 2000 lincoln ls rack and pinion fit on a 2004 lincoln ls? Does it matter if it's v6 or v8? I have a 2004 lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 and need a rack and pinion. Somebody please HELP.

engine size is immaterial when it comes to steering
what matters is body length, mounting positions and methods, tie rod lengths , position of pinion , method f attaching steering shaft
best if you go to a wreckers and view both steering assemblies side by side to check any differences
or you can pull both out and interchange or you can go to a dealer spares and see if the boxes have the same part numbers
or you can ring a steering specialist shop and ask if there is any differences

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls v8 where

For the Lincoln LS V8, there is a flexable tube on the drivers side of the engine that runs from the valve cover/crankcase to the air intake tube. There isnt a PCV valve for this engine, it is just a tube for ventilation.

I have that same car

You need to start with a scan tool on it

I won't say you need a dealer, but the shop will need a data
base & like the LS or they will be wasting their time

Tring 2 find the firing diagram 4 a 2004 lincoln ls 3.9 v8 the ignition D coil pack needs 2 be replaced on my lincoln not sure witch cyclender is D

There is no cylinder D on an LS

You may have a code for that, but half the
codes you get on a misfire, you disregard

1,2,3,4, Pass

5,6,7,8 Driver

Front to back

Cylinder #4 is a PO 304 ,you can pretend it is D if you like

D on other Ford Products

Not all cylinder codes mean that the coil is bad

You get all sorts of codes & sometimes have to walk a coil
until you get to the bad one.

2003 lincoln ls what does the codes 420 and 430 mean

PO420--Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank1)
PO430-- " " " " " (Bank2)

O2 Sensor
Coolant Temp Sensor
High Fuel Pressure
Bad Converter
Thermostat
Etc

Owning a 2004 V8 myself--I will say your need to go thru the entire engine, as to how it is running
It may be overheating due to coil misfires or other issues and ruined the
converter

You need to solve all issues before replacing a converter
I would stay far away from a dealer, unless you have a couple thousand to spend
