The oil was preety much all over the bottom of sump and oil pan
Rear main seal....
Look above the pan, it may be drooling down from above like at valve cover gaskets or oil filter....
Testimonial: "Is it expensive to fix ?"
Could be cost prohibitive depending on how much the purchase price is. If the purchase price is inexpensive enough, may be worth it. Factor in mileage and be sure to have the frame inspected on this vehicle BEFORE you negotiate price; they are KNOWN for frame problems just behind the doors and at the leaf spring hangers.

It is the oil pan gasket all you have to do is drop the oil pan clean the bottom of the engine block and the surface of the oil pan and install the oil pan again. a very simple process. Make sure that it is not the rear main crank seal that is leaking. If it is the rear main then you will have to remove the tranny to replace the rear main seal.

IT IS THE WATER-PUMP. PLEASE DON'T WAIT FOR IT TO OVER-HEAT BECAUSE THEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE, AND VERY COSTLY. PRICE A HEAD-GASKET JOB AND COMPARE IT TO THE COST OF A WATER PUMP. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE. BEST OF LUCK.

Instructions can be found in any basic manual but the simple version is to remove anything obvious that will be in your way (starter, trans lines etc). Disconnect both engine mounts and raise engine to get better clearance (watch stuff on top so you don't break anything) I usually stuff a couple of 2x4 wood blocks between engine & mounts to support it. Remove all pan bolts and take it down (remember pump pickup will interfere) Do what you need to do, then reverse process.
