Bad tach, seems .
bad tach, or bad wires to it or power to it bad.
i dont know what engine option you have
but most use the ignitor signal to do this.
later about 1996 the ECU uses CKP sensor to run the tach directly
in that case bad tach, bad wires to tach or bad power feed to it.
it only has 3 wires.
power
ground
sig
one is bad, or its bad.

SOURCE: 95 honda accord V6 tachometer jumping and cutting out.

I had the same problem with my 1995 Honda Accord V6 2.7L a year ago. It was a pain to have Honda diagnose the problem because it was intermittent and every time I took my car in to the dealership they said they couldn't reproduce the problem, but the longer you wait the more frequently your tachometer will fluctuate. I finally stopped by the dealership when the tachometer was jumping and they were able to diagnose the problem. In my case there was a faulty resistor in the ignition coil, but the entire ignition coil needs to be replaced. I don't know anything about cars but I know this fixed my problem. I went directly though Honda's service center so I know they charged me more than an independent repair shop but I'm looking at my invoice now and I paid $150 for the ignition coil and $200 for labor. After Honda diagnosed the problem I searched for "1995 honda accord ignition coil tachometer" and found that other people had the same problem and replacing the ignition coil was the fix. Hope this helps.

Can a diagnostic connector on 1995 Toyota 4 runner be jumped over with jumper wire to get check engine codes?

There is probably a way to access codes by using a jumper and causing the engine checklight or an integral led to flash in groups. I can't say which pin or pins need jumping.

I suggest you ask the question of google and click on the youtube video.

1992 toyota 4x4 pickup odometer working but speedometer not working

They both work off of the same cable, so I would say that you have a problem in the speedometer head itself and will need replacing or sent in for repair.

This means you most probably got your vehicle boosted backwards! Replace fuse and try to restart vehicle. Shouldn't have a problem! Seen this many times!

Tried to jump out maf sensor , now tachometer does not work

you shouldn't try to jump out the maf snsor. this thing is programed with the trucks computer. bypassing this will screw everything up.

Need diagram of fuel injection for 85 4x4 22re

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. There may be a stop adjustment on the throttle body, but usually high idles are due to unmetered air entering the system.

No electric to the dash

make sure you check all your fuses. if its not that then make sure your not shorting out anything. check your Am1 and Am2 fuse under the hood.
