Start by charging the vehicles battery and clean terminal, once the battery is charged and the terminals are clean and secure, erase code. If the code comes back ON you may have to reprogram or replaced ECM/PCM

there a good and easy way to check if your batterie is broken. your batterie has some caps on if its 12 volt you have 6 caps. turn the caps off all.start your engine while looking to your batterie. when your starting and there comes smoke out, batterie is dead. you must see good,so one starting and one person checking on smoke.its also a good thing to clean the connections positif and negatif aswel the cable and the batterie itself. if there are not clean and i mean like silver color. batterie will not charged good.when you got connection, thats looks like white cool.por some low hot water on it till its gone. wacht out for your cloding.the white stuff can blowing away by wind, when it come on your cloding, you will see nothing till next day, big hole.
First fix the problem that made the check engine light come on. Then unhook your negative battery cable for 10 minutes to reset code in the computer. Mike
Well contact your dealer and tell them that your battery is gone bad for no reason and don't mention you let the light overnight because your battery is under warranty and they will put in a new one. Good luck
As with many newr cars, Your radio probably had a security code which is required to reset it after the radio is removed or power was disconnected from it. You probably have the code written somewhere in your new car paperwork. If not, contact your dealer. They can probably guide you through resetting the code.
Best way is to go to Autozone or Oreillys and get a free scan. They could also do a Starter draw test to see if it is okay.
The scan will tell you what the Code is for the Check light and Autozone or Oreillys can reset your Check light. If the Battery boiled away the water, then it is either overcharging or you have a high draw of current.
There use to be a test of taking off the Battery cable while the engine was running and if the Alternator was good your car would keep running. But with the new Electronics using this method may hurt the delicate Electronics somewhere else in the car.
P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error Ford dealer Tech said to check for corrosion on the battery terminals, if they’re good the check each battery individually to see if all cells are good. If that still doesn’t solve it, he says to start pin testing the computer ????!!!??
P0603 doesn’t always mean you have a problem, if you are running any kind of chip, programmer ,etc. you will get that code.
