Need help with a 1998 ford e150 cargo van. Its the base model. No power locks or anything fancy. I have no power to the radio at all. All fuses seem to be okay. Im having an issue finding a fuse diagram. Also is there a radio relay under the hood. Please help im going crazy trying to figure this out. Also can i bypass the 12 power to the radio from another 12v wire. Something that would turn off when van was off

There is no Relay. But I believe that the Radio chassis has to have good ground. That can be easily checked with a test light connected to a Positive(+) Source.

Never heard of a external radio relay, but you need to find the radio fuse and check it, you can Google a diagram for the fuse panel, there should be one under the hood and one inside, hope this helps, make sure radio is not dead, and there are 2 power wires, one for memory and one for accessory, both have to to be powered for radio to work, the relay you see could be for a factory amp or antenna booster

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.

2001 Ford E150 cargo van temperature gauge not working

If the temperature gauge in your 2001 Ford E150 cargo van is not working, there are a few potential causes:
  1. Faulty temperature sensor: The temperature gauge in your van is controlled by a temperature sensor, which sends a signal to the gauge to display the engine's temperature. If the sensor is faulty or has failed, the gauge may not display the correct temperature or may not work at all.
  2. Wiring issues: If the wiring that connects the temperature sensor to the gauge is damaged or broken, the gauge may not display the engine's temperature correctly. Check the wiring for any damage or loose connections.
  3. Blown fuse: The temperature gauge is powered by a fuse, which can blow and cause the gauge to stop working. Check the fuse box for any blown fuses and replace them if necessary.
  4. Instrument cluster issues: If the temperature gauge is not the only gauge that is not working, the problem may be with the instrument cluster itself. In this case, the instrument cluster may need to be repaired or replaced.
  5. Faulty gauge: It's also possible that the temperature gauge itself is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Need detailed diagram of 1998 latch mechanism to remove connections from it

there is no diagram... the latch is also a non-servicable latch, so if your problems in the latch- it needs a latch. i would look more closely at the outside door handle itself as i have seen a few of them break on the E series vans.you may be able to get detailed instructions thru autozone.com or @ autozone. hope this helps and good luck
