the PCM and all must be scanned,
the clusters (IP) is totally dead, most are just networked clusters now, power and can-bus networkd
so first on call cars, we check fuse first and for sure M.r cluster
or is this NAV oR radio display not told.
the we scan the PCM to see why the cluster is dead.
99% is fuse
learn that fuses blown on 10 other devices, CAN-BUS wired
can make the network or or even do odd things.
we have no Hoden in USA so no books here on it. so this is a 2011 evolution answer.
These things are now a function of the Body Control Module. There are a number of fuses with that designation. Check them with the probes of a multimeter set to ohms using the contacts in the top of the fuse.
The 'premium' fuel shouldn't really affect your vehicle especially as it is reasonably new. You will need to find out what has caused the Engine warning light to come on. These means you will need to get it plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to read for any trouble codes. If you do not have access to one you will have to pay for the scan.
*Note* Get prices from 4 or 5 places as prices can be VERY different.

Hi Cassandra I believe it can be done by a Dealer via a diagnostic computer a dealer could confirm this for you. However if you were in a bad accident and air bags deploy I believe the doors automatically unlock again a dealer would confirm this with you. If your doors/boot was unlocked whilst you drive when in traffic or waiting at lights you have more of a chance of someone opening your door to pinch a bag or worse. Or even open your boot. Personally I would stick with what you have.

I had the same issue with my 2014 Cruze TDI. It was solid, every time I started the car the error would appear. So I disassembled the air intake and everything was clean except for the sensor between the MAF sensor and the throttle body. I have no idea why it was dirty when everything else was very clean. But I cleaned it a week ago and the light has not come on again. I hope this helps.
