How do I fix my seat heaters on a 2006 chevy avalanche

This has to be a wiring issue in the seat heater harness. Do a continuity test for all the connections for the seat pad.

there is loose contact with the heater wiring

Different car has different way to reset. Read its manual, it should tell how to reset.

Faulty seat heater pad or seat heater switch.I would first check the switch connections and fuse.

I have the same problem. The motor would stay on after the ignition was off and the car was locked.. then after i took the fues under the hood off to shut it of when i replaced it it just syopped working. now the blower does'nt work at all... if you find a solution let me know

it sounds like the relay in the module for the heated seats that could be going nuts due to a bad wiring connection. most likely a ground.

we had same problem,it was caused by shifting trans selector to quick after startup,not waiting for electronics to cycle on initial startup.
