I have a 03 Kia sorento an I think it jump time cause 8 month ago it ran a little hot an my wife shut it off an the I checked an it wouldn't start well I took it an got the timing belt changed an its reading misfire an is making ticking sound an idleing rough plz help
This sounds more like an ignition lead has either burned through or cracked. This will cause the spark to jump to the closest metal object ( the top of your engine. The ticking sound is the spark jumping. Take out the spark plugs and check them. They all should be reasonably clean except for the misfiring one. It will be black and maybe look wet. This will tell you where to change the ignition lead
