Do you own a test light? Check for power at wires behind socket? Clean socket good , check contact spots for bulb & clean any rusty side of the socket with emery cloth, or sandpaper, for good contact also.

SOURCE: Our 2001 Dodge Caravan seems to be leaking oil around drive shaft

Yes it's a bad seal and most likely the side bearing to the trans axle is bad too. Once the bearing has play, it vibrates and causes the oil to leak though the seal. Note: if one side went bad the other side is soon to follow since they have the same amount of miles on them. Might as well change both side. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep an eye on the transmission fluid level, don't want to burn out the transmission.

this is most likely a fault in the Antilock brake system (ABS) hydraulic controller or a wheel speed sensor, have the system tested for trouble codes.

Vacume line diagram for 2001 dodge grand caravan looking for the line that runs to the ac / heater,

It sounds like vacuum is not getting to the vent, heat and A/C controls. Find the vacuum can. It may be under the hood on one of the inner fenders. Trace the lines back to the vacuum block at the intake manifold or fire-wall, and also back to where the line goes thru the fire-wall. Check the can for leaks or obvious holes. They used to be just a plain metal can, but it could be a plastic ball. Check the lines as you go for breaks and rub-thru's. Move the controls thru all settings and listen for vent door movement. (Run the engine momentarily to build vacuum in the system.) Worst case is a bad vacuum motor or air flow position selector switch.

No oil to back of motor 1992 dodge caravan

You either have a blocked oil line or a blown head gasket blocking the oil line. Check the oil for any signs of white residue. This is a sign of a headgasket leak or break up. Good luck!

My mini van 1999 dodge caravan , the front drivers side wheel , breaks squeak while driving but not when i apply breaks the break light comes on intermittently . what could be the problem ?

this is likley to be a sticky piston in the brake caliber,,,stirp the brakes out on both sides of the car and free off the pistons by cleaning them first then pushing them right back into the calibers chace that the caliber is free to slide as well use copper grease on the caliber pins and on the "back" of the brake pads,, check there is plenty of life left in the pads if not fit a new set to "both sides" dont just fix one side do both sides or the car wont stop in a strate line or may pull to one side!

I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan. The Automatic door locks are not working. I replaced the fuse and they are still not working. What do I do now.

You may have a broken wire & it usually breaks at the flex point on the driver's side door. Go to the wiring harness between the door & door frame, peel back outer casing & reveal the wiring. Look for any broken wires & resolder & heat shrink wrap or retape.Good luck!

How do i replace front drivers side brake caliper?

Jack the van up, remove the tire. Then you will see the caliper. There will be 2 bolts that hold it on to the rotor. Remove the bolts and pry it off with a screw driver or what ever works. Then disconnect the break line from the caliper. After you get the new one use a c-clamp to press the piston down into the caliper and install the brake pads. Bolt the caliper back into place and install the line. Loosen up the bleed valve on the caliper 1/2 turn and have someone pump the breaks until no air bubbles come out. Once you have a smooth stream of brake fluid coming out the valve have that person pump once more and hold the pedal all the way to the floor. Then tighten the valve.

No 4wd in a 1998 dodge ram 2500 w/360

check behind the right side of the front axle and look for 2 vacuum lines to see if they are still connected. also check on driver side just infront of the transfer case and check the vacuum lines to see if they are still connected. usually the problem is the vacuum lines have become caught on something and disconnected themselves.

95 dodge ram 1500 does not go into 4 wheel drive, heater flap flips back and fourth at acceleration and cruise co ntrol does not work.I know its probably a vacum leak, but, is there a common place that the...

For the 4 wheel drive system, the comon place is under the vechile near the transfer case. You'll see two tubes coming from the engine compartment running along passanger side frame rail. They then follow the cross member to the transfer case. Right there where they run off the cross member into transfer case is where they normally come off. Sometimes just slipping them on cures it. Other times, you may need to find a way to connect them better. I'ld tell you how I use to do it but it's a real jerry rigged job.
As for the heater and crusie, I have no clue.
