When driving my 2007 ford transit van will splutter and stop then after a while she restarts not doing it all the time.i have been to a ford work shop but no fix.all I want if some one can give me an honest answer.
Well Simon lets see what we can do here I understand the frustration and you must understand your truck is not in front of me but I will try my best O.K. now first of all I think this is either fuel or emissions related and lets start here there is a extreme possibility that you might have water or dirt in your diesel fuel inside the tank and it will float until the level gets low then you are more at risk of it getting pulled through the fuel pump don't misunderstand me this can always happen when the tank is full from the fuel sloshing around while driving but it will happen much more when the level is low what I would like you to do is add a couple of dry gas and a couple of fuel conditioner additives to your tank these are combustible and will mix with the diesel so don't worry and if there is water it will dry it up & also mix with it to get it out of the tank run the tank down as close to empty as you can get if you have a can with 5 gallons go all the way till it runs out of fuel then immediately change the filter and put the same stuff in again then the diesel fuel and then fill the old girl up again to the top I'm trying to get the water or dirt that could be in your tank out without dropping the tank and being extremely costly you should only have to do this 2 times and it should clean the old girl out but it will get less frequent with the sputtering and stalling and if you see this result keep doing it as many times as it takes to get the tank purged of what is in there but if you don't start to see results we must now turn to the emissions system you also must know when the truck had a tune up how long ago post back with any news on the progress good luck

Serpentine belt replacement for a 2005 Ford Transit T330 van 2.4 Diesel 125 HP
The auxilary belt or accessory belt, you are wanting to change. I used a 3/8ths wrench and extension to release the tension, held it anti clockwise and the belt comes off easy, no need to undo anything. The slot is in the drive belt tensioner pulley. There's a square slot near a bolt. It isn`t really much hassle at all. The job duration is around 20 mins from start to finish.
