Get socket and giant torque bar
Put on middle fly wheel nut
Make sure belt off
Try and turn by hand
This is very simple to do
You might need extensions and pull off tire
More than likely your ac froze up on you bypass belt or pully
Axle froze or tranny froze up on you
Turning starter will kill starter save the starter turn by hand
Turn it over by hand with a long ratchet &
socket on the crank bolt

There is a diagram under the hood showing how
the belt fits over all those pulleys. It's either on the
hood itself or on the chassis near the hood pin release pin.

SOURCE: my 2004 ford freestar van is hesitating going down
most likely not the fuel filter- try plugs and wires... could be a number of things, if the vehicle runs fine while in park and doesnt hesitate, most likely is sprk plugs and wires or a transmission problem...
SOURCE: ford freestar 2004 the TRAC OFF message comes
I had the same problem and apparently fixed it by mistake. I replaced the cruise control deactivation switch under the master cylinder, hoping the cruise would be fixed. Some how with that the "trac off" light went out and gave me the ability to turn it on/off from the button again. The part was $30 from the local dealer and easy to replace. Before you run out to replace the switch check the connections on the old one. It plugs in upside down which may accumulate water from puddles and things causing connection issues ( a known problem ).

You have a coil on plug or COP. to get to it you'll need a 1/4 drive extension.with a swivel socket and a 7mm socket youll just have manuver your way in , now if anything is in the way and your confident of removing what is the way you will suceed in removing the COP which allows you to remove the sparkplugs.
