I had the same problem with mine,it was the Blower motor resistor,it's located behind the glove box.

You may have a faulty radiator blower motor. If the blower blows weak it will surely be not enough to make the engine cooled down. One good reason the water boils on the bottle. Another issue can be a clogged radiator and a faulty water pump. These can make the engine hot too when faulty. Please give enough attention on the possible causes to prevent severe damage to the truck.

2004 chevy Avalanches air conditioner blows hot air, can the actuator be forced to keep it blowing cold air instead of hot air all the time.

I am assuming that we are talking about the blower motor... if so I would recomend replacing the blower resistor. it is on the passenger side under dash held in with 2 screws.

Sounds like tou need to replace blower motor resistor, it is located on A/C, heater case near motor. This should fix you right up. Have a good one!

I agree with 'motgor1258'... replace the blower resistor (it's actually a power transistor).

Sounds like your freon has leaked out and your heater blower resistor is burned out. Deffinitly take this to the dealer.

I know in my mother's 04 liberty she had the same problem. Only would kick in on high. It was the selector that was bad. Its not to big of a problem unless it bothers you.
