turn the key to the on position a see if you can here a buzzing sound around the fuel tank,if you don't hear a sound then. (be very careful while doing this) with the key off take a fuel line coming from the tank loose, make sure its pointed away from you and turn the key to the on position, see if any gas comes out,if not then your fuel pump is probably bad.

Try a salvage yard for the part. As soon as your new car left the lot it became a used car. Used cars run on used parts.
If the old part is a recall they will upgrade you regardless which part is on your car.
Check the internet and enter your part# in the search box of the Browser. You may get lucky for a new part.

Iat sensor replacement

Do you mean an IAC = Idle Air Control? It is located on the Drivers Side of the Throttle Body

IAT (Inlet Air Temperature) Sensor? It is part of the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor on the Fords normally.

Repair low idle on 85 mercury grand marquis 302

You never replace parts unless you can prove they are faulty.
The tps tells the computer if the throttle is open or not.
The idle air control valve is how the computer controls idle speed.
The valve could be faulty, or you could have a dirty throttle body.

The Throttle Position Sensor is located at the top center rear of the engine, on the throttle body.
Here is a diagram showing where the TPS is located on this vehicle.
Hope this helps...

Location of throttle position sensor and how to replace it 1997 toyota camry 2.2 4cylinder

Hello

At the point where the air intake hose is connected to the engine is a part called the "throttle body". the TPS is attached to the outside of the throttle body. See picture below.

Would like a picture or detailed description for a person who knows nothing about cars throttle position sensor 97 mercury mountaineer

Hello, I can give you a detailed description. The TPS switch is a small sensor mounted to a metal part called an Airhorn. If you go and get the part first at an Autoparts store you will know what you are looking for.

The Airhorn is located behind the plastic air ducts from where your Air filter is placed. On one side of the Airhorn are the cables from the Throttle and the Cruise control. These cables move the Butterfly flap that controls the air coming into the engine.

At the opposite side of the Airhorn you will see a small part with 1 electric connector and 2 screws. The screws are a little tough to break loose, but after that you simply unscrew them and the part will fall off. The only skillful requirement in reassembling this is to align a slot and groove to fit together. Tighten the screws, plug in the electric connector and that is all that is needed.

No oil pressure, camshaft position sensor error,

Yes, the sensor is in small housing the goes in the hole where the distributor used to go. That also drives the oil pump so don't drive it you'll ruin the engine. It's located down under the throttle body, near transmission end of the engine.

I have a 1997 Mercury Villager with many miles. We get poor gas mileage. The check engine light is on. I want to replace the 02 sensor but cannot locate it on the engine. Is there a link with photo of physical location of the sensor and what are the steps to replace it?
