Check the Fuel Pump Relay. behind the battery next to the OVP Over Voltage Protection Relay. They do fail. Occasionally the engine will not start when hot. This becomes more frequent until you are left stranded. If you are comfortable with jumping two terminals you can jump terminals 7 & 8 test the relay. if the car starts your Fuel pump relay is bad.
Sounds like you might have a faulty ignition switch and ignition lock cylinder.These cars are known for the ignition switches getting hot and then they won't start.
