Headlight fuse

If I'm correct there a fusible link for the headlights.
Probably of the starter solonoid.

no.you should see a pin on top of headlight remove this pin and light will come out and you can change bulb. it may have two pins not sure they changed around that year you will turn pin out of its holder and then slide it out if it is two they will be vertical if it is one it is horizontal

when you turn on the head light switch do the dashboard light turn on? if you answered no then the fuse may be no good. if you answered yes then the lights may be no good ORRR there is an electrical problem

With electrical problems I always look for a bad ground wire, especially on older vehicles. Look for any wire that goes to an inner fender or the engine, there maybe a faulty relay in the circuit too. good luck, Chuck

Headlights do not have fuses. They have circuit breakers (thermal cutoffs) ususally in the headlight switch. Headlight circuits aren't fused because once the fuse blows, you're out of luck. At least with a self-resetting breaker, when the circuit cools off, you again have light.
check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.
