Check the distributor cap and rotor button for shorts /cracks and cleanliness. If you have changed the HT leads then check the firing order . Check the HT lead from the coil to the distributor cap.

SOURCE: 1994 Jag XJ^ No Start

If the car started and then stopped and if you have ruled out the fuel system(make sure you do have fuel pressure and your not chasing your tail) then it could be one of 2 items.
First i would replace the cap and rotor, I have had cars that ran fine then died and after replacing the cap and rotor have been perfect.
the other common issue with this model is water in the gas. The fuel filler drain gets clogged which allows water in teh gas tank, when the car sits it seems the mixture will allow the car to run then boom, it will die and not restart.

SOURCE: oil all around spark plugs and wires

the valve cover gasket is probably leaking into the spark plug wells replace the gasket and the plug well seals if they are seperate from the valve cover gasket

95 vilager 3.0 die when its hot out. when i let it cool it wiil run for awhile, any time its 86 degrees or hotter i have this problems not sure (ignition mod, coolent sensor, weak fulpump, vaperlock)

When it dies you need to figure out what is missing, ie fuel pressure, spark, tour are probly losing spark when it occurs pull of on of the plug wires at the coil and have someone crank the engine while you hold that wire 1/4 inch away from being plugged in not touching but close, see if the spark jumps this gap, of not you have either a failing coil pack, or a bad crankshaft position sensor, I would start with the coil, please rate or leave feedback good luck

What does the error code P0304 mean?

A p0304 is a cylinder misfire on number 4 cylinder. Possible causes are faulty spark plug wire, bad spark plug, or faulty ignition coil. Depending on how many miles are on the vehicle, you may just need a simple tune up.

CHANGING SPARK PLUGS FOR 1997 OLDSMOBILE AURORA

Very easy process but takes a little time. Remove plastic cover on top of engine to uncover wires going back to ignition coils. Remove plug wire and trace back to coil. Remove and replace spark plugs on at a time, same with wires. Spark plugs need .5 gap. good luck

Not getting spark

Testing the coil packs.

1. Get an INSULATED wire and hook it to a ground on the car.
2. Get some one to help you
3. pull a spark plug wire off the coil
4. hold grounded wire close to, but not touching, the part where the spark plug wire connects
5. keep hands away from coil and have your helper turn the engine over ( start car and turn off)
6. if there was a spark between the wire and the coil pack it is good. if not, the coil pack needs replaced
7. replace the spark plug wire
8. test the rest
