How to fit a front fender on a 2000 intrigue

PROBABLE CAUSE Impact to the front bumper pushes the bumper back far enough to break the washer pump hose fitting. CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace the windshield washer reservoir and washer motor with updated parts. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC (I) to unlock the steering column. 2. Raise the vehicle on a lift. 3. Remove the right front inner fender. Unhook and pull back the bumper for better access. CLIPS (6 places.) SCREWS (6 places.) RIGHT FRONT INNER FENDER 4. Release the hooks on the upper right side of the front bumper. 5. Remove the clip from the filler neck, then remove the filler neck. FILLER NECK CLIP WINDSHIELD WASHER RESERVOIR CLIP WASHER MOTOR CONNECTOR BOLT BOLTS WASHER TUBES 6. Remove the right front fender trim, and disconnect the washer hose from the 90-degree fitting. CLIP FRONT FENDER TRIM FRONT HOSE 7. Disconnect the 2P connector and the two washer tubes from the washer motor. 8. Remove the washer reservoir clip and the three bolts, then pull out the reservoir. 9. Assemble the new reservoir components, but do not install the filler neck. 10. Trim 85 mm off the end of the 1,260 mm washer tube only. 11. Route the washer tubes on the reservoir. NOTE: The black fitting is for the front windshield nozzles, and the white fitting is for the rear nozzle. 85 mm 12. Install the reservoir. 13. Connect the rear tube to the straight fitting in the wheelwell. 14. Connect the 2P connector to the washer motor. NEW RESERVOIR Connect the rear washer tube. CLIP BOLT 9.8 N•m (7.2 lb•ft) 15. Install the filler neck with the original clip. Connect the front washer tube to the 90-degree fitting. Then reinstall the front fender trim. WASHER FLUID DIPSTICK 2P CONNECTOR FRONT FENDER TRIM FILLER NECK CLIP

its on the top of the motor in the front by the cam shafts.

it is down bottom, passenger side-if you are facing the front of the engine (passenger side front wheel) it is at the 5 o'clock position-you have to remove the bottom air dam/splash shield, the dogbone top motor mount, the intake air box, put aside the ECM (under the airbox) the radiator, the passenger side splash shield and the serpentine belt to get it out, and it is a tight fit (just did mine recently) to get it out anyway-you have to rotate it a certain way, but it'll come out if the other items are removed.

In most cases it is by the crank pulley, some are on the back side of the block, all depends on what motor you have, if you stand at the pas front fender, it will either b strait down by the crank pulley on twoards the front of the car, you will have to remove it to access it, or, it will be to your left just up from the transmission shaft in the side of the block.

Remove the body brace over it. 1 bolt in the back, 2 in the front. Remove the battery mount. One bolt on the front of the battery (kind of faces the engine). Disconnect the battery lift out, replace. Reverse disassembly.

After removing the front bolts from the chassis crossbar, loosen the back one(s) so it will swing out of the way. You can squeeze the plastic retainer holding the front wire harness to release it, then it's just a matter of (carefully!) wiggling the battery into position to lift it out.

it should be located in the front bottom of the motor. jack up the car and put it up on stands and ya should be able to find it right there

The "jerking" can be normal because that is the wheel that the power is going to..
If the jerking is "too much" it could be out of allingment or could be a warn out bushing or a bad ball joint in the front end.. Jack up the front of the car (be safe) leaving the front wheel hanging free.. **** the wheel left to right.. You should be able to see if anything is loose or not moving properly..

If you remove the Left front wheel there will be a little door by the bumper in the tire well if not on the left side of car look on the right side

fastboyz is correct. There are two fuse panels. One in the engine area near the battery as he describes. The other one is on the passenger side at the end of the dash board. You have to open the passenger door. If you look at the dash board you will see a panel box cover built-in to the dash. The cover fits the contour shape of the dash. Pull on the cover and that will expose the fuses.
