Your safest option is to replace the whole fuel line. If it is leaking at one location there will be other weak points in that fuel line. It will probably be an easier and cheaper fix as well.
A leaking fuel line can be discovered by looking for gaspuddles under your car when parked. A fuel-injection line may also leak, causing you to notice the smell of gasfumes during and immediately after driving. A fuel-tank vent hose may also leak, causing unburned gas to exit your fuel system as vapor.24 Apr 2015
means there somthing is leaking pressure between the leak detection pump and the purge valve. first i would check all vacuum and purge lines between fuel tank vent line and purge valve on engine. this means all lines in the evap system. just to rule it out, make sure gas cap is good and tight, clear codes and drive vehicle.a bad or loose gas cap can cause that fault to occur.
Hi,
Fuel lines of this type are not repairable. The answer is to buy a new line and replace it. Should be able to get one from a NAPA store. Buying a gas line tool to get the clips off is very helpful. (they are relatively cheap) Also, buy new clips for each end of the line when replacing if they are not supplied with the new hose, old ones can cause another leak.
have you checked your tps on throttle body? As for vacume leaks start the engine and spray starting fluid on all lines also spray where intake mates to the heads if the motor revs up you found a leak
More than likely you have a busted fuel line, or one of the connections from the fuel lines to the fuel pump is broken. If you know how to repair cars, drop the tank and find the leak. If you don't know how, have the vehicle towed to a shop. Driving the car would definitely be a fire hazard.
You need to fix it asap...fuel leaks can cause fires...A section of line can be installed using compression fittings that have ferrules. DON'T use rubber hose!!!
This could be any number of issues, you could have a leak in your fuel tank or lines, or more likely in that vehicle, a leak in your injector rails or the lines that feed the injector pump
