Need info on power steering limes

look under dash will see a motor attached to steering column or open hood an look for pump and or flkuid lines from rack

YOU NEED TO FIND EXACTLY WHERE IT COULD BE THE LINE /THE PUMP THE STEERING BOX YOU MUST GIVE INFO EXACT AND I'LL GIVE YOU THE PROCEEDURE

FIRST YOU DRAIN POWER STEERING PUMP USING A SIPHON. PLACE DRAIN PAN UNDER VECHICLE WHERE POWER STEERING PUMP LOCATION WOULD BE.THE DRAIN PAN WILL CATCH FLUID AS YOU REMOVE POWER STEERING LINE.YOU NEED FLARE IN LINE WRENCHES AND A NEW POWER STEERING PRESSURE LINE AND NEW O - RINGS. IF NEW PRESSURE LINE DONT HAVE NEW O- RING THE DEALERSHIP WILL HAVE IT.

The power steering pressure sensor tells the computer when the power steering is being used. The sensor has probably gone bad and is sending incorrect info to the computer. The sensor is usually on or around the power steering pump or steering box.

I believe that the lines are all part of one piece and it is the power steering cooler. Contact the dealer for better part info

There is usually no diagram for the power steering on a vehicle. On power steering you have a pressure line and a low pressure return line. The pump is located on the front of the engine and has a line that is bolted into it, this is the pressure line coming out going to the steering gearbox where it is bolted in also. The other line has a clamp holding it in place, this is the low pressure return line coming back from the gearbox. If the gearbox is the rack and pinion steering type then you may have a couple of extra high pressure lines on it to operate the rack portion of the steering. Good Luck, RAC

well if you have power asisist it will run from the master down to the pump and ger box.if you feel you have the wrong line you can go to your local car dealership remember to copy vin # down they can print you a diagram with a part number on it. also autozone has z-net on line with repair info and how to info
