Free chevy wiring diagrams

Hello. Your Chevy's fuel pump assembly color code wiring should be grey (power) black (ground) purple (fuel level) and orange (low fuel warning). To check, attain a 12 volt test light and probe the wires one by one as an assistant turns the switch on and off without engaging the starter. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

They are 2 ways to get this. An internet search using your year make and model car with the term fuel pump wiring or wiring diagram usually pulls up a collage of good diagrams. Or the autozone site has a help site at the bottom of its help page, There is a free part and a pay part, but free info will supply diagrams.

I don't have a diagram but I can tell you the pink wire going into the tank should be the sending unit for the gauge.

I have a 96 2wd chevy Blazer runs fine till i get about a mile or so up the road and then shuts down when i brake at stop sighns please help

Black/white is A,........ Green is B ......and Gray is C

all you need to do is listen to hear the tank switching valve is working. It will make a soft noise under the rear cab section with the key on with the engine off. zif you do hear it sounding the switch your tank unit for that one tank you try to switch to is a fault. Sorry no illustrated diagrams are on hand, just knowledge

Disconnect negative battery cable, then open gas cap to relieve fuel pressure. Then remove harness on fuel tank. Remove bolts to fuel filler tube. Remove gas lines. Remove support strap. Then with tranny jack and a helper, remove gas tank support bolts and lower tank.

Now on top of tank you will see the cap. You will need to use ONLY BRASS punch and hammer and knock the ring loose counter clockwise until it unscrews. Now sending unit and pump can be pulled out.
