Toyota fault codes

What does ERR 33 mean in relation to the sound system? CD stopped playing, would not eject. Could not get radio either. Automatically ejected after a few minutes and showed ERR 33 code on display. Made a whirring sound as if trying to play CD. Smelled like it was burning. I pulled fuse. CD player is single, not changer. 2003 Highlander V6, nothing special on it.

SOURCE: Toyota Avalon 2000 xls cd player does not work

If you are using "home-made" or "burnt" CDs, this can happen. Sometimes, you can remove the radio from the dash, and unplug it. That may reset the CD player, and the discs will eject.
It works for me about 85% of the time. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2003 toyota sequoia radio error code 1.will not

Error one indicates a bad laser pickup, or a calibration issue. I would recommend a CD cleaner, but, if that does not help, the radio will need to be taken to an authorized service center. The 01 code is rather common to those radios.

Error code 3 for a 2002 toyota jbl 6 cd radio

it means there is a disc stuck inside the unit, try disconnecting the battery for a minute and see if it will reset, if not the unit needs to be opened up, sometimes foreign objects can enter like coins etc. You can remove and open the cover to retrieve anything that may be stuck and remove the discs as well, if that is not an option for you then you can remove the unit and take or send it to an authorized JBL or other repair facility that can do this sort of repair.

What's the error code ? You need a four digit code to enter into the radio . On your old one had the battery been disconnected or replaced in the vehicle

1999 Chevy Lumina won't play any CD, display reads 'ERR'

Hi:
Unfortunately, the ERR is a disk read error, and usually caused by the laser being out of alignment. It seems in my experience that An aftermarket deck is a cheaper solution than having it repaired.

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck

CD ERR 1

Have a 2005 Freelander and the battery died. When I re-charged the battery, the CD changer had a CD ERR 1 message. Could not eject or load a CD and the radio worked. I turned off the radio and pulled off the cover on top of the CD changer. I removed the two screws that hold the frame around the CD changer. I turned the CD back on and the CD went through a test on each CD. I know this solution might not work for everyone, but it worked for me

dear friend- the error code means the lazer is not reading your cd,if it is a pirate cd it might be the problem,or the lens must be cleaned.
