If you checked wheel bearings, and they are ok I would check rear sway bar links.they will cause a knocking sound .good luck!

SOURCE: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LT 2wd bad road noise in the rear end

i had the same problem, i found out that both rear torque arm bushing are filled with liquid grease, when they go bad all the grease comes out of them and then the metal sleeve inside the bushing starts the hit the bolts, when you hit a bump. that was the loud noise, that i had.

Noise from rear end of 2018 Equinox when traveling down the road sounds like a thumping noise could wind cause this

Wind......yes, only if something is loose and swinging around. Check the stabilizers as they often cause a clunking sound and is more pronounced when going over bumps, even small ones.

2001 2wd, v6 tracker LT, 110K miles; Grinding, clunking nosie

If it sounds like a rumble from back wheels it may be the rear end going out. Mine has been replaced twice with used rear end. You should be able to confirm it by looking at the rear tires both sides of tire for an oil leak or wet spot on tire or rim.

Rear end clunk in Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup

The noise is caused by the axle button being worn out, this lets the axle move back and forth and clunk, this is a unique problem with C clip retained axles, it is a noise issue but will not fail and cause any more damage, in order to fix it you must have the axles pulled and the diff carrier checked for excess wear where the axle retainning C clip rides, if the carrier is ok then replace the axles.
