The car needs a battery boost to start, but the same thing happens the very next time it rains. I've also noticed that the felt ceiling gets damp on the front passenger side after a rain.
SOURCE: water leak
sounds like you have a window seal leak. The only other way water will leak into the car is a leaky heater core or a clogged A/C drain. Do you have a sun roof that could be leaking? As they have drains too.
SOURCE: Water coming in to front passenger floor when it rains
The heater/airconditioner box under the dash has a drain hose to allow condensation to drain when the air conditioner is running. If this hose gets plugged, rain may accumulate in this box also (if it's raining heavily), as it comes in through the fresh air intake.
Look on the engine side of the firewall, probably on the passenger side, for a hose coming through the firewall that is not connected to anything. It is usually short, has a 90 degree bend, and the open end is down. Make sure that the end of this hose is not plugged.
SOURCE: Wet floors on passenger side after it rains.
Is it possible the water is actually coming from the A/C evaporator case, whose DRAIN IS CLOGGED ? The water produced by the A/C then leaks out of the case, down under the carpeting, then depending how vehicle is parked, can flow to the rear floors and carpet. Hope this helps
SOURCE: Front passenger side carpet getting wet
The AC evaporator units have a drain hose that runs through the floor because condensed moisture is a fact of life with AC units. Yours is plugged. You will have to get under the vehicle and look for the hose where it comes out, then take like coat hanger wire and clean it out, It is somewhere in the vicinity of where the passenger foot well meets the fire wall. If you have to raise the vehicle to get under it, make certain you have it safely supported. If you don't have the stuff, drive the passenger side wheels up on a good curb and use some cardboard to slide under.
SOURCE: Plugged Drain Holes? Does anyone know
hello there
the drain plugs should be under your carpets 1cm round, the cause could be that your water drain hoses are plug-up.It is part of the drain from sunroof.
