Line broke driver side near gas tank

You need to replace the entire section of line from end to end from/to the nearest fittings. It is unwise and unsafe to do this any other way. In replacing, you can use several sections of new line, joined by pressure couplers (solid, not kind with ferrules) in order to attain the proper length. Keep measurements as close as possible so there is not a lot of "leftover" at either end. It's not necessary to exactly follow old routing providing your install does not rub on anything or interfere with linkages etc. (don't forget engine and trans move as does suspension.

More than likely you have a busted fuel line, or one of the connections from the fuel lines to the fuel pump is broken. If you know how to repair cars, drop the tank and find the leak. If you don't know how, have the vehicle towed to a shop. Driving the car would definitely be a fire hazard.

You may get away without removing the fuel tank, unless you have a clamp you need to remove and can't get to it.
The question is-Do you have experience bending and flairing brake tubing. It takes time and will come out really nice ,if you do. It is a fabrication skill.
If you let a repair shop do it ,it will be butchered. They don't even want those jobs. Too time consumming. I like that stuff, having been a machinist, fabricator, restorer, etc.
