I changed my Blower Motor resistor on my 03' Tahoe and got the a/c working properly but I noticed build-up on the old resistor. Is there a cabin filter on this model truck to keep the air inside the cabin to keep the air clean?
1 Tools needed are a Phillips screwdriver and a socket wrench. Open door to passenger side of vehicle. 2 Under the glove compartment is a kick plate cover held in place by four screws. Remove the screws and take off cover. 3 The door to the cabin filter is now visible. Remove screw in door and unhinge. 4 Remove the first filter by pulling straight down. Remove the second filter by sliding forward and pulling down. Replace with clean cabin filters. Reattach door and kick plate cover.
Good luck and hope this helps.
That is about the time they stopped putting them in there however I believe that one does it would be on the passenger side under the dash there is 2 bolts that hold the black cover on should be 7mm once you get it off about in the middle you will see a slender opening tab that goes from top to bottom if its there dont forget there will be two in there
Yes. It's under the glove box, behind the plastic cover. On the very bottom ther will be three screw (7mm) take those out next there will be a thin plastic cover that has another 7mm screw in the back towards the firewall. The filter will slide staight down, and there are two. Slide the first one out then slide the second one out.
