Not sure but it might have to do with your intake and or one of your cylinders , does it seem lazy when driving ?

My first thought is fuel filter or fuel pickup blockage. Some systems have a fuel filter in the tank, others have an inline fuel filter prior to the injector pump. I would replace those as a first step.

My first thought is the intake is dirty. a can of seafoam in your gas tank will clean that. also check the ground wire on the fuel injector rail.you can find it on the back of the engine close to the fire wall. take it loose and clean it and reinstall. last thought is the throttle po,sensor.

Check fuel pressure. Sounds like a bad pump or plugged fuel filter.

SOURCE: my 1992 grandmarquis isnt ging any fuel to the engine

I had a the problem and I replaced the inertia switch which is located in the trunk. This is the switch that will flip if your car gets hit in the rear end and it cuts off the fuel flow to the motor to prevent an explosion.

My grand Marquis won't shift into park but it goes

My Grand Marquis shift indicator offset. Car was stuck in reverse/neutral/drive. Had to take the bottom of dash apart where pedals are and tighten a couple of torx screws.

My friends mom called me, her grand maquis will only start in neutral. plus all the head and tail lights are completely out

you need to start with the neutral lock out switch, it is connected to the shifter mechanism. it keeps the starter from being engaged unless the shifter is in park or neutral, and turns on the back up lights when in reverse. it may also have a switch to release the parking brake.

Very likely you have a loose connection on your transmission shift linkage, or you have a shift cable that is no longer tight.

First jack up the vehicle and secure with a jack stand. Check the connection on the drivers side of the transmission to make sure it is connected tight. There should be a nut holding the shift lever in place. If it is correctly fastened, remove the steering column plastic covers by unscrewing screws and check for loose connections.
