The throttle actuator control (TAC) system uses two accelerator pedal position (APP) sensors to monitor the accelerator pedal position. The APP sensors 1 and 2 are located within the pedal assembly. Each sensor has the following circuits:
• A 5-volt reference circuit
• A low reference circuit
• A signal circuit

Hey Justin, your fuel filter is a NON-SERVICEABLE filter.. there is nothing you can do. Changing the fuel pump(it has a filter on it)

Remove the back seat,,there should be a "trap door" in there-in the top of the gas tank... disconnect the battery first, then remove the fuel pump..

It is located right below the brake pedal. See what is holding it in place ( a few bolts or nuts) just disconnect the wiring & replace.

What brand part did you use ? Dorman ? OE ? Did you test the circuitry ? Did you just read the code an replace the part ? 2009 Chevy Silverado P2138 Accelerator Pedal Position Chevy is same as pontiac ! Drive by Wire training

P0571 = Cruise Control/Brake Switch A Circuit Malfunction
P0504 = Brake Switch "A"/"B" Correlation


I'd say that Brake Switch Circuit A is your problem. Check the wiring connection on the switch (located on the brake pedal near the firewall), then if that seems good, replace the switch.

P 0571 means problem in brake pedal switch.You need to make some checks:Ask somebody to check the brake lights at the back and press the pedal.If OK anyway change the switch because/this is double switch/hi is connected to the vehicle computer and wrong information is given

Hi,

If you have ABS on this vehicle which these models do, the brakes will ulsate if the pedal is depressed quite hard.

It does this because the ABS is working and it does make the brake pedal feel like its vibrating.
