Its up near the glove box. Easy job. Don't pay the dealer $250. It cost me around $40 and took about 5-10 minutes to remove and replace. This is the problem 80% of the time and NOT the blower motor.

SOURCE: 1994 Honda Accord heater nor A/C will not blow air

if your not getting any air coming out of the vents then your problem is your blower motor. test the wire harness to see if its getting power,if it is then your blower motor is bad if its not getting power then check your relay.

SOURCE: locating the starter motor on a 2004 honda accord

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the positive battery cable (if you have an anti-theft audio system, make sure you have the code).
Drain the cooling system. Remove the intake manifold ( not a real easy task).
Disconnect the starter cable from the B terminal on the solenoid. Disconnect the BLK/WHT wire from the S terminal.
Remove the harness clamp. Remove the harness holder.
Remove the starter retaining bolts. Remove the starter from the vehicle.

Hope this helps you find it.

The part from the dealer is $180.65 ,labor is .5 hours about $50. If you go to a independent shop the cost should be less:)

SOURCE: blower motor 1991 honda accord ex

the blower motor is located behind and under the glove box. its held to the blower housing by three screws. remove the three screws and the motor will slide down and towards you. to test the motor. apply power to the yelllow/black wire and ground to the blue/red wire. the motor should run. if not you prob have a faulty power resistor. 0881be0.jpg

Where is the blower resister on a 2004 crown victoria

very unusual location. usually inside the car in the plenum case by passenger floor, but here it is:

Blower Motor Switch Resistor
The heater blower motor switch resistor has the following features:
  • The assembly is located in the engine compartment on the evaporator housing toward the center of the vehicle.
  • Three resistor elements are mounted on the resistor board to provide four blower motor speeds.
  • Depending on the heater blower motor switch position, series resistance is added or bypassed in the A/C blower motor circuit to decrease or increase A/C blower motor speed.
  • A device to prevent overheating (thermal limiter) will open the resistor coil when the temperature reaches 121°C (250°F) interrupting the blower motor operation in all speeds except HI.
  • The thermal limiter cannot be reset and is not serviceable.

The blower stopped working about 2 months ago 2004 Accord. We

The motor is located under the dash behind the glove box. But more often than not it's the resistor , which is located under the hood. There is a black box with two aluminum lines going to it from the a/c. It is a black square piece with about 8 wires going to it. It has 2 screws on each end. You need to unplug the wires and take the screws out to remove it.If you need any more assistance just email me or post the question.

F150 2004 blower working only on high position.

this is because your blower motor resisters are burned out for speeds 1,2 & 3. High speed does not have a resister.

Replace the resister. If it goes a 2nd time, it is because your blower motor is failing & drawing too much current.

it is behind the glove box I think. It is in the plenum case where air blowing on it keeps it cool.

Easy repair. May need to access throught glove box which should open all the way down when you squeeze the sides in.

Go to tascafordparts.com for a discounted resister.
Please rate as solved problem if this is what you needed.

The blower motor resistor is out on my 2004 dodge stratus.

Hi my name is Allen!

The blower motor resister is located on the passenger side under the dash, it's mounted on the bottom of the A/C Housing.

If you bought the resister from the dealership you will need to make the hole larger for the new style resister so it will fit.

You should also replace the blower motor, because the resistance built up inside the motor is what damages the resister.
