It could be a couple of problems. My gut tells me your building high pressure either due to a plugged condenser or over charging. If you haven't charged recently try washing out the A/C condenser which looks like a radiator in front of your coolant radiator. Do this with the air shut off. If you have recharged recently try letting a little pressure out of the a harder valve where you filled the system with freon.

You probably have a vacuum leak on the passenger side. its a small plastic hose some times they come unpluged from the engine. or brake.

Sounds like your temperature actuator is not moving or your temp door is broken. On max a-c ,coolant is shut off to your heater core allowing only cold air in.

have you checked the mixing motor and the door?pull out the glove box you will see a white motor remove it 5/16 or 8mm plug it back in run the system to see if the shaft on the motor works then check where the shaft fits in the top of the door if it's broke cut the box under the door w/ a dremal remove door fix if posible reverse steps good luck.i'm doing this now i fixed the oor but the compressor wont come on any ideas???????????

My name is Ron,and I have one solution,Sounds like you need some freon added,if that doesn`t fix ya ,the ac compressor could be weak,or blockage in ac system,or vent door not opening,or opening slowly, and not all the way...hope this helps,[email protected]

When they refilled the refrigerant did they put die in it to check for leaks, it sounds like there may be a leak.
