Not sure. it could be a power related issue but then again it could be a hardware or software issue. use google to find more information about your product including a web resource to reach the manufacturer for tech support.

2007 dodge nitro....has power...everything works....won't start...key fob is dead....replaced the battery in the key fob...still won't work? Any suggestions?

Try this

To fix the Dodge Nitro anti-theft mechanism, you will insert the ignition key and turn it to the on spot, and then attempt to start the engine (crank over), the engine does not run. With the key still in the run spot, wait 10 minutes, and the safety light will flash and then go out.

  2. Do not attempt to crank up your truck.
  3. Allow your key to sit in the ignition for 60 seconds. ...

Car was running, shut it off all electrical systems dead. will not attempt to turn over

Check the main battery connections first. Battery possibly dead from age or defective charging system. Possibly also bad battery cable to chassis or main fuse box.

I have a 2006 Land Rover LR3, the vehicle was left in the on position all night, came out this morning and battery was dead. Jumped the battery and receiving an error message stating "Engine System F

Possibly your engine management computer will need to be reset. If the battery was dead dead, meaning the voltage was down to under 11 volts or so, there is a good chance the computer lost the information it needs to manage the basic engine functions such as throttle settings, fuel management, etc. You might want to also pose this question in one of the Land Rover forums to see if anyone else has a solution, but I would guess it's service time.

Vehicle won't start after replacng alternator.

sounds like a bad power connection or dead battery. when you place a load on the system a poor connection or dead battery will allow voltage to drop below norms causing everything to shut down. when you release the key and the load is removed, some voltage returns to power the lights and displays.

Idles rough upon start , goes dead when letting up on gas.

If the bat went dead and was disconnected it can take 25 to 50 miles of driving for computer to reset sensors and controls. Sounds like MAF Sensor maybe reading different than when it was first driven. Did you drastically change climates or altitudes, New readings from when it originally was put into service. Slight changes in temp, alt and other variables gradually reset, if driving does not improve within 50 miles it will need diagnostics.
