Passenger side reclining mechanism is stuck outer handle moves but sat wont budge. told by chevy that I need to replace he seat frame is this true or can it be fixed
Sometimes broke is just that... Broke... Unless maybe loose change or something is stuck in the mechanism
Should only be 4 bolts holding it in ?, If You have the tools toremove lube up the frame , but be very careful about the recliner , usually a heavy duty Tension spring could get dangerous if you mess with it ! any Uposery shop should be able to fix it

well sounds like the tension spring , dont try it yourself when they pop could slice you bad If you have socket set reomove it and drop it off to trusted mechanic , alot chear than the hospital or a chevy service center
