How to disarm security system 2005 cts

Hello. Security systems (alarms) can cause problems when they become bad. The best thing to do is disconnect the fuse for the alarm. Look in the fuse panel of your car and see which one is for the security system (alarm). Then you can pull out the fuse and it will disarm the security system. Good Luck.

What name or acronyms would be for the fuse to the aftermarket security system?

Aftermarket alarm systems do not have there fuses in the cars fuse boxes, the fuses are located in line to alarm system.
You will need to look under the driver side of the dash and locate the alarm box, and then follow wires back a little, there you will see a few fuse holders containing the fuses for that alarm system good day
