these are pressed in wheel bearing assemblies. axles need to be removed out of the spindle and either a special tool to do it on the car needs to be used or the entire spindle removed and carefully pressed in and out. if you so choose to take this venture on i would suggest taking the spindle off by removing the brake caliper, rotor, axle nut, 2 bolts for the strut, lower ball joint, and tie rod. once this has been done and the pieces are in your hand take it to some place like napa or a local repair shop and pay them to do the press work.

Ford Front wheel bearings do have a torque spec. It is all over the new part to torque to MFR spec or damage will occur.
I have no idea what that spec is though.

You need to buy the manual, because you also need to know the order in which to torque them.

usually you start at the middle and circle outward.
But they can differ. Some cars you always need to put in new head bolts. Others are done in several stages. This is too critical to take chances on.
If you really can't afford $19 for a manual, go to the library and xerox the pages.
