SOURCE: 87 samurai bolt torque specs for engine

The haynes book is not recommended since there are numerous mistakes and they still will not update. One of the biggest is the firing order.

The factory service manual is the only way to go.

Head bolts - 46 - 50.5 lbs (there is an order sequence for the bolts)

Intake & exhuast manifolds- 13.5 - 20 lbs

Flywheel - 41.5 - 47 lbs

Clutch cover - 13.5 - 20 lbs

SOURCE: wats the torque setting on the head bolts on a

Install cylinder head to block.
After applying oil to cylinder head bolts, tighten them gradually
as follows.

(1)Tighten all bolts to 53 N.m (5.3 kg-m, 38.5 lb-ft) according to
numerical order in sequence

(2)In the same manner as in (1), tighten them to 84 N.m
(8.4 kg-m, 61.0 lb-ft).

(3) Loosen all bolts until tightening torque is reduced to 0 in reverse
order of tightening.

(4)In the same manner as in (1), tighten them to 53 N.m
(5.3 kg-m, 38.5 lb-ft).

(5) In the same manner as in (1) again, tighten them to specified
torque....105 N.m (10.5 kg-m, 76.0 lb-ft)

This was taken from SQ416 manual from www.suzukinfo.com
I hope this helps.
