Replaced the power steering pump and now the fuel injected carb isn't getting gas to start the engine, if you put gas in the carb it will start and run forever. Fuel pump is working, fuel filter is new and there is pressure/gas getting to carb but won't start unless you put gas directly in the carb. Figuring the power steering replacement is unrelated but??? Did have to disconnect the oil sending unit to get to power steering pump, but is has been connected and seems to be working correctly. Checked all fuses also...Any ideas????
After you dump the fuel in the throttle body it will continue to run on its own or die as soon as it burns up all the fuel you dump in? Do you have access to (Noid lights)? Are both plugs attached to the distributor?

It will continue to run on its own and you can see the fuel feeding into the throttle body. We will check the plugs to the distributor and I will mention the Noid lights to my brother who is working on it. Thank you
Power steering problems were due to using automatic transmission fluid rather than power steering fluid.
Starting problems were due to a blown fuse labeled for the electric window on the drivers door...no indication that it had anything to do with the throttle body or fuel injection but it did.
