2000 Dodge Durango 5.9L SLT Here it is I had a transmission leak, got it fixed, had overheating problem at the same time. Fixed leak and found radiator fan relay melted. Replace the relay and then the computer. Find now that when A/C is turned on the relay melts, because the fan turns on and does not turn off untill the A/C is turned off. During all this a stalling problem starts and presists today. I have clean the throttle body, changed the ignition coil, throuly inspected the distributor. fixed a broken CTS, changed the TPS changed the fuel filter due to a hard start and am about to replace the MAP sensor due to two codes p0108 and p1296. The connector tested out to spects of 5 volt in the on postition and 1.5- 2 volt at idle. I have been told that the MAP could have been affected by my K&N filter after the recharge. I followed the directions for recharged and left it sit longer than required. I did it in the morning and left it sit until I had to go to work the next morning. Was being lazy and used it as an excuse. Will the Map sensor fix my problem.

Not really the charge could not have did that i recharge em al day wait 10 mins and there off of ciurse i blow em down with the comp but no the answer to ur questin is no!!!!!

There are 2. One is located above the catalytic converter most likely near the exhaust manifold where it attaches to the head. the second and most common one I have found to go bad is the down flow sensor located after the catalytic converter before the muffler on the underside.
The radiator has a transmission and engine oil cooler lines to it too. One of the oil lines are leaking, if you know which one that's have the battle. I believe the transmission line is on the passenger sides and the oil cooler line is on the drivers side. Look at where the lines connect to the radiator and see if there is signs of the leak. You may need to spray it down with brake cleaner if you not sure if it's a new leak or old leak from the accident.

the message is appearing because a sensor in the transmission, usually in the transmission fluid, detects higher than normal temperatures which is usually a result of increased friction which isnt good. I would get the sensor checked before you get the transmission worked on.
