Fan will only blow to the defrost in a/c or heat

If your front blower motor isn't working on any setting, could be the blower motor itself, the blower resistor, or sometimes the wire pigtail to either one could be the problem.

It's the vent actuator, it moves the baffle that changes the direction of the air flow.
Here is a video of a broken vacuum hose that creates the same problem.

It could also be a failed actuator.

Try scraping ice off the "whole glass area." before you leave the house.

go by liquid coolant and check ur heat and ac fan it might be stuck or broken

If the heat blows hot, the defrost should also. If the heat does not blow hot air, it could be your thermostat, your heater core valve, or the heater core itself. with the vehicle being a 2002, the heater core is the least likely.

On the passenger side front to the fire wall above the blower fan the lines run to there!! Trace an check for leaks an cracks!!

check under the hood where the engine is or maybe on the sides of the dash either side
