1999 SATUN SL1 OVERHEATING

HAVE HAD HEAD GASKETS REPAIRED IN 2004. NOW HAVING SOME OF THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR OVERHEATING AND NOT KEEPING COOLANT OR WATER IN IT.THE ONLY DIFFERENCE THIS TIME IS WHEN I REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT WHICH I THOUGHT WAS STUCK IT STILL CONTINUED TO BOIL OUT OF THE RESERVOIR. THERE IS NO OBVIOUS MIXING OF OIL/WATER .WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS AND IT WILL BOIL EVEN AFTER SITTING AT NIGHT AND I CRANK IT IN THE AM TO CHECK THE COOLANT LEVEL AND ADD WATER IT WILL BE BOILING? WHAT DO YOU THINK IS WRONG AND WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The water isn't boiling, you apparently have a combustion leak into your cooling system. What you are seeing are compression bubbles. Possible cracked head or another head gasket. Sorry.

Keeps Blowing head gaskets

You need to strip the engine down and check the top of the block (deck) for cracks and have it resurfaced, Do the same for the cylinder heads, check them for vcracks and have them resurfaced. Use felpro gaskets.

Just got car repaired from a head gasket problem. Now the car is getting hot when sitting at stop light with air condition on. What can be wrong now

ck cooling fan operation and radiator, Head gaskets dont just "go bad", overheating is what kills them. The shop should have found the reason for overheating, and repaired it.

Need to install head gasket on 86 honda accord .Is it worth the effort

Only if the rest of the car is in good (perfect) condition. If not then I would not replace the head gasket. Head gaskets dont just go bad, overheating is what causes the gasket failure, then the head will be warped and need to be repaired/ straightened, Then you will need to fix why it overheated in the first place.

1999 deville overheating

Head Gasket problems are common on the 4.6. It is an expensive repair, because the engine has to come out and all the head bolt holes have to be retapped. Check it for leaks first. Check the water pump and water pump housing to cylinder head gaskets.

Might have a blown headgasket as well or timing belt.

My van blew the rear head gasket costing about 2,000 to repair. It was caused by the DEXCOOL coolant eating away at the gaskets. Make sure that when repaired you get the updated gaskets.

Car overheating

you have to change your Heater Core. Your Antifreeze moves in a circular motion from Radiator to Thermostat through engine to your heater core back to your radiator. If there is no circulation, your engine is going to overheat. I had the same problem with my Pontiac Grand Prix.

1999 Pontiac Grand Am Overheating

It is probably the problem. To make shure that need to change the gaskets, one of the symptoms use to be thet the temp rises when you are running at speed 50+ average, where is supposed that the car gets a lot of air due by the speed and nobody thinks that will be overheated.
