The table below lists the torquing specifications for most spark plugs being installed in either cast iron or aluminum cylinder heads. Torque values assume clean, dry threads.
Never have used torque specs. Keep in mind. If the plug has a metal gasket, snug it down, add 1/4 turn. If the plug is beveled, snug it down add 1/16 turn. But I believe the torque is 17 foot pounds.
you will need
8mm
10mm
5/8 spark plug socket
3/8 ratchet
3/8 extension (it could be 4in and longer)
and spark plugs factory plugs are pregap iridium
spark plug torque is 13.0 lb.ft
coil torque 8.7 lbf.ft
spark plug part # NGK 1zfr5k-11
# DENSO pkj16dr-m11
and spark plug anti seize on spark plug thread
what you need to do is remove the plastic cover 8mm socket or 10mm sockets
now remove the spark plug covers and remove the spark plug coils too 10mm head bolt you will need a 5/8 spark plug socket and a 3/8 ratchet and a 3/8's extension too
you need OEM spark plugs they work the best
hope this will help
Engine off
Remove one spark plug wire / using correct size spark plug wrench with / rubber boot designed for spark plugs (deep well socket with rubber boot) remove (1) spark plug / gap new replacement spark plug to specs / install replacement spark plug by hand into head of engine /finger tight /using spark plug socket and rachet finish tighting spark plug / tighten just beyond snug being careful to not over tighten and breaking spark plug ..if in doubt about the proper tighting consult motor manual for torque specs. use torque specs in conjunction with appropiate torque wrench . Re-install removed spark plug wire ...proceed to remaining spark plugs doing one at a time until completed.
not to bad you'll need long extension, front one are there in view, the back one's remove spark plug boot (long one) and with extension you can reach spark plug's.
