Hi. Thanks for your question. For step tp step instruction for changing the sidelight bulb you can visit https://www.reliable-store.com and download the entire workshop manual which includes all the information along with the diagrams for better understanding. Good day!
open up the bonnet and you should see a screw attaching to the sidelight cluster. this is the only screw to... unscrew. after this pull the sidelight straight forward not sideways or any other way, then you should be able to access the bulb. putting it back is basically all that in reverse, just observe the little clip on the back of the cluster that it goes into the hole its meant to :-)
hope this helps as i had trouble at first
Need a bit more info about make and model of vehicle. In general there is normally access through the back of the sidelight fitting. There should be a bulb holder insert in the back of the fitting that turns and you can remove. Take the old bulb out and replace, push the insert back into the bulb fitting and twist to secure. Ensure the sidelights are switched off before attempting this , or you may short the contacts and blow a fuse.

On the sidelight, there is a Phillips screw which is hidden by the headlamp assembly. Remove headlight assembly and look for the Phillips screw. Once unscrewed, pull lens unit straight out and then you should be able to change bulb.
hi, i have sorted this problem on my 99 focus ghia.,check both your tail light bulbs.someone put the wrong bulb in and i had the exact same problems you described.the bulb for brake/tail light has two steel connecters and and all other bulbs have one.i put proper bulb in and the problem disappeared.now lights working perfect and sidelights dont come on now when i brake :)change both brake/tail bulbs on each side.1 euro will fix this problem.hope this helps.
It sounds like you may of accidently put one of the bulbs in incorrectly. This can happen very easily with the new style twin element bulbs .
To test this, just have someone put the sidelights on and if I am correct the bulb that is in wrong will either light up alot brighter than the other side or it will not work at all. This is the bulb that needs swapping around.
do you mean the little light on the fender? if so it should pop right out by pushing the lense forward against the spring and then pulling it out. the one in the bumper and the fog light are a bit more dificult, you have to get access to the inside of the bumper by removing the fog light black assembly.
