My back up lights are now always on. I did some research and found that it may be the neutral safety switch. The problem is that I can't find it. It is supposed to be located in the front of the transmission (3.3L, 3 speed) but all I can find is the input speed sensor, output speed sensor, transmission range sensor and the transmission solenoid pack.I picked up one from the local auto parts store in hoping that i would see it, but I haven't. Can some one tell me what I'm missing or give me a link of a picture that might help. Even the car manual was of no help.
Thanks

It is in side the trans on top of the valve body. Why do you think you need to replace it?

SOURCE: how to change neutral safety
if it is a 3 speed it is easy ( rarely bad) 3 prong plug below the cooler lines coming from radiator, if it is an overdrive could be similar with two plugs , the one pointing towards front of van is neutral switch. some late 1996 vans with od have an internal switch like the later models and will require valve body removal . if this is the case seek a professional.
