I tried to charge my 2005 tahoe battery with a rapid charger - before the charger, the ignition turned on and dash lights lit up, but battery was not strong enough to start car. After charger, the ignition switch turns on and no dash lights - car does not even try to start. I think the battery charger blew something. It seems like it would be a fuse, but I have checked every ignition fuse at the left dash and under the hood. All ignition fuses seem good.
Remove a battery terminal for 5 min. This will allow the computer to reset. Resecure the cable and try to start.
Provided you disconnected the battery before you charged it, its probably just a new battery you need, but if you did not diconnect it you have probably done damage to the starter motor and maybe the alternator and god knows what else

When I turn on the ignition to start the car my dash lights don't come on, although they were on prior to attempting engine start
