With a multimeter test the voltage from alt to bat should be 14.2 volts test battery after a charge should be 12-13 volts not disconnect negative from battery and put your multimeter on fusable 10 amp and do a draw or drain test plug the black cable from the multimeter to the battery and the red cable from multimeter to the cable neg black on the car side cable unplugged from battery make sure keys are out of the ignition and the doors closed and nothing on in the car you should see .05 mv to .03 mv if you have more after a 30 mins test or 1 hour test then you have to find the drain on battery to find this you take out fuse at a time to see if it chages repeat not all the fuses at once 1 at a time

Sounds like two different problems.
Low fuel pressure could cause the hard starting, and breaking a belt could cause the overheating and dead battery.

The 12 volt battery(LUCAS 065/3) on my FORD FIESTA 1100cc is 4 years old, in that time i have only driven 1,600 miles as my journeys are usually very local. I make sure i use the car twice a week to keep...

Running so few miles has accelerated the aging of the battery - the battery never had a chance to fully recharge in such small trips -  so now you have to replace it a year sooner than usual.
Just replace it.

Flat batary

Do you drive it everyday? Does it have any extra stuff on it like alarm system, anti-theft device? Get one of those floaty ball things that check the specific gravity of your battery acid. One dead cell is a dead battery. They will tell you a lot. And just because a battery is new doesn't mean it is good. I have seen a lot of good batteries dead! Also, check the water in the battery. also, check the alternator, it can't be charging. The light on? Something is killing your battery. If it isn't being drained, it isn't being charged up either. The clock can kill a battery in a few days. Check this stuff out. Hope it helps.

Battery charge can last from 1 day to 3 weeks then goes dead

Its entirely possible for the battery to put out enough volts on a tester. It may have a " Dead cell " and that may be causing this. I should be getting worse though. Replace the battery

For last two days my truck had to be jumped start.

Just because your accs. function does not mean the battery is ok The first thing to check is the battery, there could be dead cells in the battery your starter need maximum voltage if a cell is dead the battery generally will not turn the engine over check that battery
