Code P0605 Van Does Not Run

The van was running great then it slowed to 10 MOH and the SES Light, SLIP Light, and the TCS OFF Light all came on. We made it home, the next day I tried to start the van and it won't start. I had the codes read and came up with P0605, and not the diag link is not even working. Someone told me there might be a fuse for the link that might have blown and needs to be replaced but I still can not get the van to run.

The 10 amp fuse #12 in the junction block powers the obd port.
The p0605 code is hard to diagnose. Check the pcm for damage

SOURCE: TCS/SLIP & Check Engine Light Warning

TCS is Traction Control System, and all TCS's are controlled though the Anti Lock Braking (ABS) system. Here's how it works:Each wheel,or in some cases, only the drive wheels have a speed sensor mounted near the hub or axle, and sends a speed signal to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). The PCM monitors wheel speed continuously, and if it sees a speed out of the ordinary, say for example the right rear tire is spinning and traveling at a much higher speed than the left rear, the PCM will pulse the brakes through the ABS system on the right rear to slow down the right rear so that the left and right wheel speeds match up,this is how the traction control works. So,if you have a TCS problem, the PCM will see this and set a Dignostic Trouble Code (DTC).You need to pull the DTC's out of the system with a scan tool, diagnose and repair the DTC's.It could likely be something as simple as a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor, but you won't know until the codes are pulled out,as this will point in the general direction.Good luck.

SOURCE: p1320 trouble code plus

The P1320 code is essentially a coil primary voltage problem. This is traceable using a labscope or accurate DVOM and perhaps you can isolate one or two coils that still work but are close to failure...but there is a nissan service message recommending replacement of ALL coils with updated/improved models to prevent this type of failure. TCS/SLIP is traction control. Most likely you have a speed sensor issue. Be aware, some vehicles can falsely illuminate TCS because of low tire pressure in a single wheel.

SOURCE: TCS/SLIP/Service engine Light

Sounds like your quest is stuck in fail safe mode, most likely could be a problem with your electronic throttle body.

SOURCE: service engine soon, TCS off, SLIP

The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.

There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.

Testimonial: "very helpful. i have the mechanic checked the car , the sensor says it has a malfunction in P0340"

Starts but dies when driven

yes probably have debris in ur fuel system from filter to cylinders p0300 is not a generic code it means multi- misfire codes not just one cylinder but others -pull the filter housing-throttle/fuel injectors apart and look and inspect for debris and clogs than do cylinder pressure check to make sure no damage to valves/pistons and when pulling the plugs and look at them for proper burn ---when u get a code[check engine light]it means u have or are going to have a problem pouring an additive doesnt correct the problem additives are usually for poor gas or help with friction in motors

TCS light comes on

the tcs is ur traction control system this reads the wheels and if one slips cuts down power to engine so as not to damage engine or trans also if awd will activate the other wheels for traction the sensors are usually part of the abs[anti-lock brakes] check connections and wires as well as the sensors at the wheels and transmission -since the light is intermittent which would indicate a short or a sensor is about to fail the vehicle will store the code as pending -have vehicle scanned some auto stores do this for free such as auto zone/ advanced auto check ur local area the code will tell u where the problem is coming from

O/D off light flashing

I am a retired Ford technician, so I have seen and know why the OD light is flashing, it indicates a problem with the transmission, it is no related to the DVD player in any way, have a parts store like Kragen or others run a scanner on the Van, there will be a trouble code stored that will give an idea of the problem with the van's transmission, post the code back on this thread and I will look at it and give you some idea of the problem and cost to fix it.

Manual code retrieval for 1989 plymouth voyager 3.0 v6 engine

Hi Wayne, what you do is turn the key to the "on" position and back to "off". Do this three times. The engine light will flash. It will flash a certain amount of times, pause, then another set of flashes. The first set of flashes is the first number of your code. The second set is the second number. For example, you see 5 flashes, your first number of your code is 5, and so on.
