The problem may be related to technical service bulletin TSB 03-001-07 which involves replacing the front axle actuator disconnect and a software update. You should be able to Google the TSB and look at the build date listed in the bulletin to determine if it applies to your vehicle.
It would be one of 2 things. Either the transmission is very low on fluid or the pump inside it has gone bad. Check the fluid first. If the pump is bad call the rebuild shop to see if there might be warranty left. Hope this helps.

The bottom latch was rusted locked. I had to pull on bottom rod after top was already released and kick out the bottom of the door. I had to replace the bottom latch.
remove the unit and check your wiring harness dodge uses a two part factory harness if the plug with all the speaker outputs came undone it would still turn on and function normal but you'd have no sound.
