Wanting to true dual the truck with a pair of Magna Flow 44's and 2.5-3" pipe straight out the back, what do I need to do to trick the rear 02's into thinking the cats are still there
SOURCE: O2 check engine light
U may indeed have a faulty MAF or O2 sensor, the way to tell if the MAF or a vacuum leak is at issue is that both O2's will code lean, if only one codes lean then it is most likely just a faulty O2 sensor, I don't have your codes but this is the way we do things at the dealer for problems like yours. Remember the O2's are before the Cat's., after the Cat's they are called Cat efficiency monitors in the book.
SOURCE: can not remove rear axle on chevy avalanche 4x4 1500.
you will need to take off the differential cover (drain and change diff oil at this time)
rotate the axle so that you can get at the cross pin and remove it by undoing a small bolt that holds it in place. it should slide out with ease, but i have had them stick, take care not to let the cross pin get lodged where it is difficult to extract
a single C-clip is holding each axle inside the differential housing
you will need to push in from the outer end of the axle, while simultaneously manipulating the C-clip off of the inner axle, repeat this same process on the other side
i will put some of pics up in a minute

4- check for any vacuom leak
5- try to clean the MAF by brake and parts cleaner
