Persistant p1516 code with traction control light. Throttle body and pps replaced???

check for an obvious loose ground at G103 located next to the right cylinder head just below the head and mounted into the block. Also, check G104 located behind the left cylinder head. Then verify all electrical connections at the throttle actuator control module.

It may be a throttle position sensor, or the wiring harness for IAC (idle control valve).

Hello' With carburetor cleaner check for vacuum leaks around the rubber hoses coming off the intake manifold. Check for leaks at the intake manifold where it mounts to the engine. If engine speeds up when you spray that means you have a vacuum leak.

There is a Tecnical Service Bulletin (TSB) that specifically addresses codes P0120, P0220, and P1516.
It says that the TAC Module can set these codes erroneously under certain conditions. It is very likely that if your vehicle is diagnosed according to the provisions of this bulletin, the problem can be corrected without having to purchase or replace any parts.

Your vehicle has an electronic throttle body unit so it uses voltage signals to control throttle blade in the throttle body. There are a few different issues that can cause this problem.
First off there is a update for the PCM to address those codes, but you will have to take it to the dealer for that.
Second there is issues with the actuator on the throttle body binding up and causing the codes.
Third there is a yellow wire coming off the throttle body connector that breaks inside internally and cannot be seen to the naked eye. The best way to test that is to grab the wire about 5 inches from the connector and tug if it feels spongy or breaks, that
